A Historic Day of Joy and Hope at Waterside Care Home
Another truly historic moment unfolded as the Frugal Empowerment Foundation (FEF) team entered Waterside Care Home, filling every heart with joy, hope, and a renewed sense of belonging.
The atmosphere came alive through the soulful music of the Frugal Music Academy (FMA) team. Residents marveled as the melodies lifted their spirits and brought comfort and relief in ways words could not express.
Brilliant performances by Shirley B, Brado, Harry O, and Free B lit up the room as they shared their heartfelt music singles. The crowd was overwhelmed, clapping along and celebrating every note.
The highlight of the day came when Dr. Frugal, Founder of the Frugal Empowerment Foundation, performed his moving piece “No Goodbyes.” The song touched the deepest corners of the heart, leaving residents with tears of joy. Many echoed the powerful message that “whatever happens here, for as long as we live, there are no goodbyes.”
This unforgettable day was made possible thanks to the dedication of our passionate team, the generosity of our sponsors, and the unwavering support of our Trustees. Together, we are making a lasting impact—restoring smiles, inspiring hope, and proving once again that love through music knows no boundaries.

We are pleased to inform you that our Caring Saturdays UK charity event for the year 2025 will begin on 1st March 2025, starting at Sanctuary Care Home, Ashgreen House.
This year, the Frugal Empowerment Foundation (FEF) aims to support 11 care homes across the Greenwich, Dartford, and Streatham boroughs, focusing on caring for the elderly community by providing services to relieve loneliness and isolation.
