Who We Are?
- Frugal Empowerment Foundation supports and empowers creative individuals, regardless of background, to achieve their goals and positively impact their communities. Inspired by Mr. Peter Osezua, the foundation fights poverty by focusing on disadvantaged youth, helping them unlock their economic potential.
- By complementing governmental efforts, we assist in job creation and address unemployment, offering vital interventions to promote sustainable growth and self-empowerment across all ages, including children, youth, adults, and the elderly.
Our Objective
The core principle of this Foundation is rooted in the essential need to serve others. Our mission is to assist individuals in achieving their long-held aspirations, empowering them to succeed in both their personal and professional endeavours.
While governments, through various agencies and departments, strive to address pressing issues such as job creation, it is clear they cannot shoulder this responsibility alone. Despite genuine efforts and well-intentioned policies aimed at reducing unemployment, the challenges persist, as evidenced by frequent reports across traditional and social media platforms. Ironically, the more these initiatives are publicised, the more pronounced the unemployment crisis appears. This growing concern demands immediate attention, as it poses a significant risk to societal stability if left unaddressed.
In light of this, the Foundation is committed to supporting these efforts by providing targeted assistance and creating sustainable opportunities for individuals to thrive. We believe that through collective action and strategic intervention, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those seeking a better future.
What We Do
Changing Lives Through Practical Support!
Frugal Charity Initiative (FCI)
Our charity work supports institutions such as orphanages, widows, and victims of crisis situations, including displaced persons in IDP camps. We also extend assistance to victims of natural disasters, such as mudslides and floods, providing vital relief and support during times of need.
Frugal Talents Development Initiative (FTDI)
This nurtures individuals displaying creative ingenuity, whether in music, gadget creation, or productivity. We identify and support those with innovative ideas, helping them develop products or devices that benefit their communities. These initiatives aim to uplift the less privileged and vulnerable members of society.
Frugal Skill Initiative (FSI)
In line with our vision to reshape the economic prospects of youth through entrepreneurship, this initiative provides vocational training to equip young people with the skills to stand on their own. We have established Skill Acquisition Centres where youths can acquire essential skills for economic independence and empowerment.
