The Frugal Empowerment Foundation (FEF) has officially commenced its Online Fundraising Campaign for the SBE Women Project 2025, with a strong appeal for goodwill donations to empower women entrepreneurs across Nigeria.

The live fundraising series kicked off on Saturday, August 9th, airing on Facebook at 10:30 am and YouTube at 11:30 am, championed by Dr. Frugal alongside the FEF UK Team.

The sessions are scheduled to hold every Saturday, building momentum to raise the ₦120 million required to execute the ambitious project.

The SBE Women Project 2025 aims to empower 500 women—200 in the FCT, 200 in Lagos, and 100 in Edo State—with ₦100,000 business support each, alongside entrepreneurship training and mentorship to promote financial independence and sustainable livelihoods.

In a compelling approach, the fundraising live shows spotlight the success stories of 2024 beneficiaries, including small business owners who scaled their ventures with FEF’s support.

These testimonies have inspired hope and reinforced the project’s impact, attracting encouraging donations from well-meaning individuals and supporters worldwide.

Now in its third week, on 30th August, the online fundraising campaign has begun recording steady inflows of donations, proving the commitment of partners, friends, and supporters who believe in empowering women to build stronger communities.

The Foundation continues to call on individuals, corporate organizations, and development partners to join hands in making SBE 2025 a reality, stressing that “together, we can break the cycle of poverty and give women the tools to thrive.”
