Your presence added immense value to the occasion and demonstrated your unwavering support for the cause of empowering women and fostering community development. Whether as dignitaries, partners, or well-wishers, your commitment to improving the lives of the vulnerable gave strength to our mission and inspired all of us to keep pushing for a better and more inclusive society.
The success of the SBE FCT Women Project would not have been possible without your encouragement, contributions, and shared belief in our vision. (FEF) Projects 2024 CHAT
The year 2024 will definitely resonate long as FEF has embarked on a series of impactful projects aimed at empowering vulnerable individuals, fostering economic growth, and creating sustainable development across various communities. As the year closes up this December, 2024 is worth a project review from the top event to the least.
SBE (Seed Business Empowerment) Project
Toping the chat of projects for the year is the SBE Women project. This flagship initiative that empowers women in small-scale businesses with grants, training, and mentorship to ensure their businesses thrive was born out of compassion as the Founder, Mr. Frugal had in 2023 seen the plight of petty traders who were struggling to keep up with making profit in business and sustaining livelihood. Moved by compassion, he commissioned the SBE women projects, pioneering with initial instant support of twenty thousand Naira to 10 women in November 2023, then later six of the were given one hundred thousand each in May 2024 awakening the need for a more deliberate approach to empowering these women and equipping them with not just funds but knowledge to be able to grow above petty trading.
Key Highlights:

FCT Women Project: To project ofcourse started in the FCT targeting 100 women with a total of ₦10 million in November 2024. The FEF team saw the registration through in August and September, the Orientation was held later in October at Wuse and Kubwa with The Onye E Nyere Ya Nye Foundation joining the project and provided the needed health talk. FEF Business unit was handy with the partner foundation to teach the women ideas on how to grow above street hawking.
At the grant giving event, the training was not still done as Mrs Faith Oyita Iregbor the Guest speaker went further through personal story to show he women that they can rise to become big business owners. The women not only got the grant money but they were equip with financial management, business growth, and sustainability knowledge.
Lagos Project: The project was extended to Lagos, in this case the focus was on vulnerable women who are determined and navigating positively in their circumstances. Two women, received the 100, 000 grant while over 50 others received 20, 000 each to support their businesses.
Caring Saturday’s Initiative
This humanitarian outreach program that provides food, clothing, and essential supplies to vulnerable communities was another consistent programme of the FEF which has continued to sustain the mumentum and even surpass it’s achievement everytime a new event is held. From the Elderly Care in the UK which has being a regular event each quarter to the Duadu IDPs Camp caring Saturday’s which was done this year to celebrate Mr. Frugal’s Birthday continued to maintain its impact both in Nigeria and the UK.
Back-to-School Campaign
Every summer, FEF join’s the call to ensure the vulnerable can be opportuned to have education and those who may be facing the threat of dropping out are supported to return to school in the wake of a new academic year. This year, the FEF shared study materials as well as ensured the continued visits of volunteer teachers to the IDP camp for the children of the vulnerable who are thrown out of school due to crisis. This educational initiative focused on supporting crisis-affected and underprivileged children
Frugal Music Academy (FEF Talent Development Initiative)
Supported World Loso, an artist, in his music video shoot in London and Nigeria.
Released the “First Time in London” mAimed at nurturing young talents in music and the arts, giving them a platform to shine, the FMA continued to register her impact with the hosting this year’s edition of GYMPAC. Also FEF artist, World Loso was sponsored under the Frugal Entertainment to the UK for his musical video shoot First Time in London featuring Mr. Frugal. The success for the FMA is evidence with the Loso’s Music gaining momentum as well as the youths in the Music Academy UK recording their albums thorugh the mentoring programme at the FMAusic video released in November 2024, promoting the Frugal Academy’s success stories.
Elderly Care Program
While this is intertwined with the Caring Saturday’s, the Frugal Elderly Care is another programme of the FEF that has being very notable over the year. This year alone, FEF has held well over four Eldery Care Caring Saturday in the UK. Focused on supporting the elderly in the UK and Nigeria with essentials, companionship, and healthcare assistance the programme proved to be a life booster for the the aged who are in many cases neglected by their immediate families whom they had given their all to raise and support..
