The Frugal Empowerment Foundation (FEF) has recorded new milestones in its ongoing fundraising campaign for the Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Women Project 2025, with key supporters making notable contributions.
Leading by example, Dr. Frugal, Founder of FEF, donated ₦500,000 (approximately £250) to kick-start the support drive. He was joined by Mrs. Anthonia Osezua, who contributed ₦100,000 (£50), and Mr. Austine Ikhayere, who supported with £50.
The Foundation is seeking to raise ₦110 million to empower 500 women beneficiaries across Abuja, Lagos, and Edo States, with each receiving ₦100,000 in startup grants alongside training in business management, leadership, and sustainability.
Speaking on the donations, the FEF Fundraising Team expressed gratitude to these early givers, noting that their commitment sets the pace for others to join in building stronger, self-reliant communities.
“Every contribution, big or small, goes a long way. Together, we can make the SBE 2025 Project a reality and transform the lives of hundreds of women and their families,” the statement read.
The weekly online fundraising campaign, currently running on Facebook and YouTube, continues to showcase success stories from 2024 beneficiaries, capturing the 2025 SBE process while calling on individuals, corporate bodies, and international partners to support this life-changing project.
