The Small Business Empowerment (SBE) Project 2025 by the Frugal Empowerment Foundation (FEF) is more than an initiative — it is a movement of hope, dignity, and resilience. Set to empower 500 women across Nigeria with startup grants, training, and mentorship, SBE 2025 is designed to lift families out of poverty, starting with the heartbeat of every home — the woman. Each woman selected for SBE 2025 represents a household that has known struggle — widows, petty traders, displaced persons, farmers, and market women — all determined to survive against the odds. Our goal is to provide each beneficiary with a grant of ₦150,000 alongside vital business training and financial literacy support. But this goal, though clear, is heavy.
