The FEF continued to bring smiles to the faces of the elderly through monthly Elderly Caring Saturdays, with the July edition held on July 5th at Uplands Residential Care Home—a heartwarming success that left both volunteers and residents deeply moved.

The elderly residents of Uplands were full of life as the FEF team reignited the homeliness they missed from being in the midst of their immediate families.
Through music, conversations, acts of service, and meaningful interaction, FEF volunteers created a joyful atmosphere that reminded these elderly citizens that they are not forgotten, and that their lives and stories are still cherished.
There are some things money simply cannot buy—like love, care, and happiness. That’s what we came to share today,” One of the FEF volunteers at the event said identifying the joyous moment the event ignited.
As preparations for the August edition begins to heighten, FEF remains committed to going the distance. The foundation therefore calls on partners, donors, and volunteers to continue to make this vision a reality.
If you’d like to join hands with us to make the next visit possible, please reach out or donate today. Together, we can spread more warmth, more love, and more hope.
